All our timber is supplied by FSC certified suppliers (The Forest Stewardship Council). This ensures products have been produced from sustainable, responsibly managed forests.

Our timber is pressure treated. Wood preservation is designed to keep your wood in prime condition without having unwanted effects on our natural environment. Wood used in contact with soil or continuously exposed to the elements is particularly endangered by fungi and insects. The preservative in the timber we use is highly efficient and is chromium and arsenic free.
The timber is vacuum pressure treated with an impregnating solution which penetrates deep into the wood. Once the preservative has become fixed into the wood it offers long term weatherproof protection. It provides protection under the toughest of conditions, such as continuous contact with soil and water. The preservative imparts a green colour to treated timber.
